Answer:

The Endangered Species Act was formulated in 1973. This Act was made in order to protect the threatened and endangered species of both plants and animals and also to protect the habitats in which these species live.

One of the major success was that there were many species which actually recovered from this act. For example, the population of the Kirtland's warbler increased from 210 to 1415 from 1973 to 2005.

One of the major controversies which arose from this act was that the critics claimed that this act failed to show major recovery of animals. Out of the total 2000 endangered species listed, only 28 species were properly recovered.

The __________ abuts the lumen of the alimentary canal and consists of epithelium
Misha Larkins [42]

Question is incomplete. Complete question is as follows:

The ____ abuts the lumen of the alimentary canal and consists of epithelium, lamina propria, and muscularis mucosae.

Answer:

Mucosa

Explanation:

Mucosa or mucosal membrane forms the lining of many cavities in the body like the alimentary canal and also covers many internal organs. It lines reproductive, digestive and respiratory system. In the gastrointestinal tract the mucosa is made of three layers: epithelium, lamina propria and muscularis mucosae.

The epithelium of mucosa is made of simple columnar epithelium cells. It consists of many types of cells like parietal cells (secrete HCL) and foveolar cells (secrete mucus). Lamina propria is a loose connective tissue present beneath the epithelium. It provides nutrition and support to epithelium. Muscularis mucosae has smooth muscle fibers which helps the glands on the surface to secrete their contents and also increase the contact between contents of lumen and epithelium.

Ivan

Answer:

Abiotic factors, such as temperature, water, sunlight amounts, and regional terrain, directly effect biotic factors. Biotic factors are the living components of an ecosystem which include primary producers, consumers, and dexomposers.

Abiotic factors can effect organisms in many ways. Hey can effect primary producers negatively if there is too little sun, water, or nutrients in the soil. However, if there is too much of any one of these, they can still be negatively effected. With primary producers, it’s all about balance.

while consumers do not directly require the above conditions, they do rely on the plants and animals that feed on said plants to survive. If the plants do not have correct nutrients, they will not either. As far as terrain goes, they adapt to better cope with the environment. If they live in an aquatic enviromment for example, they acquire ways to more efficiently move through the water to look for food.

Decomposers rely on the remains of dead plants and animals in order to survive. They feed off of dead matter and the waste gets deposited into the soil. This in turn helps to give the soil its nutrients, and so the cycle continues.

Everything in nature is reliant on each other. This delicate balancing act is both beautiful and so very fragile. If one organism is removed, the entire ecosystem could suffer. This is why it is so critical to protect the environment we share with every other living creature on this earth.

Grass flowers do not have a strong fragrance or bright color how might these characteristics be related to the way by which gras
daser333 [38]
Grasses and Grains are pollinated by the wind. and a plant is a pollinated seed that grows. there is a difference. most grasses are pollinated by the wind once again monocotyledonous flowering plants. flowers are pollinated by bees flying insects and butterflies. flowering plants must get pollen from one flower to another flower. either within a plant for self pollination or between plants of the same species for cross-pollination to occur however Paul and cannot move on its own thank goodness she had the wind and animals in rare cases water move for plantsg it is called the pollination syndrome
