----

10xy-5y+18x-9 \\ \\ 5y(2x-1)+9(2x - 1) \\ \\ (2x - 1)(5y + 9) \\ \\ Answer: \fbox {(2x-1)(5y+9)}

----

30c^2-20c^2-15c+10 \\ \\ 10c^2 - 15c + 10 \\ \\ Answer: 10c^2 - 15c + 10

----

2x^2 + 20x + 50 \\ \\ GCF = 2 \\ \\ 2 (\frac{2x^2}{2} +  \frac{20x}{2} +  \frac{50}{2} ) \\ \\ 2(x^2 + 10 + 25) \\ \\ 2(x^2 + 2(x)(5)+5^2) \\ \\ 2(x + 5)^2 \\ \\ Answer: 2(x + 5)^2

----

5x^2+28x+15 \\ \\ 5x^2 + 25x + 3x + 15 \\ \\ 5x(x + 5) + 3(x + 5) \\ \\ (x + 5)(5x + 3) \\ \\ Answer: \fbox {(x + 5)(5x + 3)}

The cost of producing x pumpkin pies at a small bakery is given by c(x)=49+1.75x. Find the cost of producing 25 pies A. $74.00 B
luda_lava [24]
So basically you wanna look at the equation like this, you have the base price of 49$ no matter what. Now you need to find what 1.75 x 25 is which is 43.75. So now you add the 49 and 43.75  giving you C: $92.75. Hope this helps :D

DIA [1.3K]

Company A-> charges $75 and unlimited millage.

Company B-> initial fee $55 and charges +$0.8 for every mile driven.

The inequality that represents for what millage will company A charges less than company B is:

Let m be the number of miles

[tex]\begin{gathered} 75<55+0.8m \\ 75-55<0.8m \\ 20<0.8m \\ \frac{20}{0.8}For 25 miles company A will charge less than company B.
