At least $73.50 for 7x3 is 21 gallons and 10.50x7 is $73.50

First, find the unit price.

10.50/3=3.50 per gallon

multiply 3.50 and 20 to find the price for 20 gallons of gas.

3.50*20=70

Their budget will be $70

Express sin A,cos A and tan A as ratios
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

Part A) sin(A)=\frac{2\sqrt{42}}{23}

Part B) cos(A)=\frac{19}{23}

Part C) tan(A)=\frac{2\sqrt{42}}{19}

Step-by-step explanation:

Part A) we know that

In the right triangle ABC of the figure the sine of angle A is equal to divide the opposite side angle A by the hypotenuse

so

sin(A)=\frac{BC}{AB}

substitute the values

sin(A)=\frac{2\sqrt{42}}{23}

Part B) we know that

In the right triangle ABC of the figure the cosine of angle A is equal to divide the adjacent side angle A by the hypotenuse

so

cos(A)=\frac{AC}{AB}

substitute the values

cos(A)=\frac{19}{23}

Part C) we know that

In the right triangle ABC of the figure the tangent of angle A is equal to divide the opposite side angle A by the adjacent side angle A

so

tan(A)=\frac{BC}{AC}

substitute the values

tan(A)=\frac{2\sqrt{42}}{19}

PLEASE HELP ASAP! What are the solutions to the system of equations?
musickatia [10]
Y=2x

so what you do is sub 2x for y in the top equation

x^2+(2x)^2=5
x^2+4x^2=5
5x^2=5
divide both sides by 5
x^2=1
sqrt both sides
x=1 or -1

sub back

y=2x

y=2(-1)
y=-2

y=2(1)
y=2

the solutions are (1,2) and (-1,-2)
