How does physical processes cause a natural event?

Using tectonics as a case study, it is very easy to correlate physical processes and natural events. Plate tectonics is the movement of large slabs of earth called the lithosphere. In geology, it is believed that the earth is broken down into plates which lies on a molten matter called the asthenosphere. The movement of these plates is responsible for the quite a number of natural events on earth today.

Plate tectonics causes volcanic activities, earthquakes, e.t.c. Plates have different motion patterns. In some places, they converge and they are known as destructive margins. In such a margin, two plates comes together. They either collide or one is submerged under another based on density difference. Where one plate goes under another, it is said to have subducted. A subducting plate gets heated and melts. The melt produces magma that forces its way through the crust and cause volcanic activities on the crust.

How plate tectonics cause volcanic eruptions.

Volcanic eruptions are produced when magma in form of lava reaches the earth surface either forcefully or gently through a vent. These volcanoes derive their magma from melt produce parts of the crust or mantle that has been forced upward through fractures.

When these lava reaches the surface, they ejected materials into the atmosphere. Some of the materials can be dusts, ash, gases e.t.c. The Hawaiian chain of Island results from intense from a hotspot forming volcanoes on the crust.

A is the right answer.

To make it make sense:

The earth is big, but is really small compared to Jupiter or the sun. The solar system is a lot bigger than earth, but it fits inside our galaxy (along with millions of other solar systems, and billions of other planets). Galaxies are huge, but in our universe, there's 2 trillion of them.

Describe how a volcano is formed at a Continental Rift. Be sure to include, in your description, what is occurring at the plate
Natali [406]
Well a volcano is formed by when the plates move and magma seeps through and hardens to a little volcano and each time it erupts it hardens causing it to get larger.

Australia. Research the types of animals and vegetation that are found in each biome. How do they relate to the economic activit
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

Brainliest pls

Explanation:

It can affect any living organism in that area

The vegetation and wildlife might impact the people who live there because of the habitat

The main vegetation types in Australia (in simplified terms) are forest, rainforest, grassland, and desert. Different types of trees, shrubs, and grasses grow within each of these vegetation types and are specially adapted to the soil, rainfall, and temperature in each area.

Plants, animals, and other organisms evolve adaptations to suit them to the abiotic factors in their biome. Abiotic factors to which they adapt include temperature, moisture, growing season, and soil. This is why the same type of biome in different parts of the world has organisms with similar adaptations.
