Answer:

The diameter of the circle  is 16

Step-by-step explanation:

\pi = 3.14

Area = \pi r^{2} you will have to use this formula to find the radius

\pi r^{2} = 201   =   3.14r^{2}=201 (divide 3.14 into both sides)

\frac{3.14r^2}{3.14} = \frac{201}{3.14}   cross out 3.14 leaves you with r^2  and divide 201/3.14= 64.01

r^2 = 64.01\\r = \sqrt{64.01}\\r = 8  square root 64.01 which equals 8

Diameter = 2r    2(8) = 16

To check answer use Area formula \pi (8)^{2} = 201. 0619298

Which function is the inverse of f(x)=-x³-9?
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Inverse of f(x)=-x^3-9 is f^{-1}(x)=\sqrt[3]{-x-9}

Option B is correct option.

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find inverse of f(x)=-x^3-9

For finding the inverse replace f(x) with y

y=-x^3-9

Now, solve for x

Adding 9 on both sides

y+9=-x^3-9+9\\y+9=-x^3

Multiply both sides by -1

-(y+9)=x^3\\x^3=-y-9

Taking cube root on both sides:

x^3=-y-9\\\sqrt[3]{x^3} =\sqrt[3]{-y-9} \\x=\sqrt[3]{-y-9}

Now replace x with f^{-1}(x) and y with x

f^{-1}(x)=\sqrt[3]{-x-9}

So, inverse of f(x)=-x^3-9 is f^{-1}(x)=\sqrt[3]{-x-9}

Option B is correct option.

Riley rakes 1/6 of a lawn in 2/3 hour. How many lawns can Riley rake per hour?
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

Riley rakes 1/4 of the lawns per hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

Riley rakes 1/6 of a lawn in 2/3 hour.

We need to find how many lawns can Riley rake per hour.

In 2/3 hour Riley rakes 1/6 of a lawn

In 1 hour Riley rakes \dfrac{1}{6}\times \dfrac{3}{2}=0.25 = 1/4 of a lawn.

Hence, Riley rakes 1/4 of the lawns per hour.
