Describing Linear Relationships
So graphing a linear equation in fact only requires finding two pairs of values and drawing a line through the points they describe. All other points on the line will provide values for x and y that satisfy the equation. The graphs of linear equations are always lines.
Divide the total amount of keys produced by the amount of keys a piano requires to find the amount of pianos a factory made:

The factory made 6204 pianos in 12 months.
Because the question asks for the amount of pianos made for the first 3 months, we'll divide the total 12 months by the 3 months the question asks for:

Now we'll divide the total amount of pianos made in 12 months by this number to find the pianos made in 3 months:
1551 pianos were made in the first 3 months of production.
The answers are a,a^2. a^1 that means only one a. a^2 means two a's.
you would divide 180 and 3, that's how much car a travels in an hour. Do the same for car b so 100÷2
you would get 60 for 'a' and 50 for 'b'
but you still need to find how much in four hours so you would times those numbers by 4
car a- 240 in 4 hours
car b- 200 in 4 hours
so they would be 40 apart
hope that made sense :)
