Answer: Probability of obtaining a multiple of 3 and a factor of 10 is given by

\frac{1}{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

There is a fair spinner numbered 1-5 and a fair dice

Total number of outcomes of fair spinner = 5

Total number of outcomes of a fair dice = 6

Let Event A: Getting a multiple of 3 on a spinner

Event B: Getting a factor of 10 on a fair dice

The possible outcomes of multiple of 3 on a spinner is

3

The possible outcomes of factor of 10 on a fair dice are

1,2,5

So,

P(A)=\frac{1}{5}

and

P(B)=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}

Since A and B are independent events so,

P(A\ and\ B)=P(A).P(B)\\\\P(A\ and\ B)=\frac{1}{5}\times \frac{1}{2}\\\\P(A\ and\ B)=\frac{1}{10}

Hence, Probability of obtaining a multiple of 3 and a factor of 10 is given by

\frac{1}{10}

Answer this plz!!!!!!!!!!
belka [17]

That's a trapezoid,

A = \frac 1 2 (b+B)h

A = \frac 1 2 (4+12) 4 = 32

Answer: 32

But say we didn't know the formula. We can chop out the 4 by 4 square and we have two 45/45/90 triangles side 4 left over, so two 4 by 4 squares,

A = 2(4)(4) = 32

We can think of this as 12 by 4 rectangle with two 4 by 4 right triangles chopped out:

A = 12(4) - 2(1/2)(4)(4) = 48 - 16 = 32
