Then one night I took a single pill, drank half a glass of water, and went to bed. I woke up with mild heartburn. A few days later, I was in immense pain. I felt burning up and down my whole chest. I was bloated, gassy, and couldnt burp. The pain was so severe, it caused me have a migrane. The pill dissolved in my esophagus, and caused an ulcer. It was my fault for not drinking a full glass of water, and going straight to bed. Im in treatment now, and am scheduled for an esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Im feeling a little better already after the first day of treatment, but ulcers take 4-8 weeks to heal.</span>
Answer:
A tan might indicate sun damage to the skin.
Explanation:
Tanning is the process by which the skin is exposed to the ultraviolet rays that comes from the sun with the purpose of producing a dark-brown coloration called a TAN.
A tan achieved by exposure to the sun can actually indicate that a person's skin is undergoing damage from the UV rays of the sun, hence, the skin responds by producing a protein called melanin, which protects the skin and later forms the dark coloration- tan. From this explanation, tan is got in response to a damaging signal received by the cell, hence, a tan might indicate sun damage to the skin.
Answer:
Plasmolysis
Explanation:
In the image 1 the cell is having sufficient quantity of water leading to a turgid cell.
The image 1 plant cell is in a dilute solution in which water enters into cell from external medium.
The image 2 plant cell is exposed to a solution which is high concentrated solution.
Due to this high concentrated solution the water present in the cell is send out by exosmosis.
Due to loss of water from plant cells the protoplasm in plant cell shrinks in which cell membrane gets separated from cell wall.
This shrinkage of protoplasm by loss of water is called plasmolysis.
