Answer:

x=6

Step-by-step explanation:

first thing first you always need to get x alone and since you have an X on both side we need to move one of them to the same side as the other one.

8x-72=2x-36

add 72 on both sides ( the opposite of subtracting is adding)

8x=2x-36+72

8x=2x+36

then we subtract 2x on both sides to get X alone

8x-2x=36

6x=36

then we divide 36 by 6 to get our answer for x

X= 6

and that's your answer, hope this helped

Answer: x=6

Subtract 2x from both sides

8x-72-2x=2x-36-2x\\6x-72=-36

Add 72 to both sides

6x-72+72=-36+72\\6x=36

Divide both sides by 6

6x/6=36/6\\x=6

A woman bought some large frames for $15 each and some small frames $5 each at a close out sale. If she bought 23 frames for $19
bearhunter [10]
Let X be large frames and Y be small frames.
X+Y=23
15X+5Y=195 or 3X+Y=39

Thus 2x=16
so X=8
so Y=15

IMAGE ATTACHED PLEASE HELP ME. I NEED TO PASS THIS.
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

 64

Step-by-step explanation:

From a given point outside the circle, the two tangents to the circle are the same length. This means: JB = JA, CL = AL, and BK = CK.

The perimeter is the sum of all these segments, so is ...

 P = JB +JA +CL +AL +BK +CK = 8 +8 +13 +13 +11 +11

 = 2(8 +13 +11) = 2(32)

 P = 64

The perimeter of the triangle is 64 units.
