Answer: Ritalin along with other types of stimulants causes overactive eye movement.


Explanation: Stimulant is a form of  drug used to increase temporary alertness and increased energy. Ritalin belongs to a group of stimulant called Methylphenidate, not only this but other stimulants such as cocaine, nicotine etc also cause overactive eye movement which is a condition in which a person is unable to give equal attention to multiple visual tasks at once.

Excessive eye movement, more commonly known as twitching, is often caused by strong emotions, such as fear, love, anger, or even excitement. During sleep, this phase is called rapid eye movement(REM). This is the 4th or 5th stage of sleep, depending on the individual.
