The romantic period was mostly about nature and individuality and emotions. It was inspired by the previously strict period of enlightenment that created a rigid society. The Victorian age was opposite, it was about society and class struggles and harsh realism. It was inspired by industrial revolutions of the world and accumulation of wealth. The modern era was inspired by world war 1 and terrors seen in it. It was heavily relying on individualism and books were often about a person struggling against a society that's pressuring him.

Time will say nothing but I told you so,
kobusy [5.1K]
The theme of the poem is that time will always be there to like rub it in your face or beat you. For example, in the poem it states, "<span>Will Time say nothing but I told you so?If I could tell you I would let you know." which shows that time will be everywhere you go.
The tone of the poem is like mad because the person feels that time will never stop being so fast or annoying.
The structure of the poem is like repeating places and stuff that might vhappen and that time will be like I told you so.

dexar [7]
