So, we can say that the new pump is 1 and the old pump is 1.5 less efficient as the new pump.  With this, is we were to say two of the new pumps, it would be 5 hours.  However, because one is an old pump it would be 7.5 hours

6 hours because:

if you divide the ten in five parts you will get 2, that means 1/5 of the pool every 2 hours so in 6 hours it would be 3/5

and if you divide the 15 in 5 parts you get 3, that means 1/5 of the pool every 3 hours so in 6 hours you wil have 2/5

and 3/5 + 2/5 is the whole pool

A// 6 hours

This bread recipe can be used for 6 people. How much sugar will be needed to make bread for 18 people? The amount of sugar is 15
koban [17]

Answer:

450 grams

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's create a proportion using the following setup:

sugar/people = sugar/people

We know that 150 g of sugar can serve 6 people.

150 g/ 6 people = sugar/people

We don't know how much sugar can serve 18 people. So, we can say x can serve 18 people.

150 g/ 6 people = x g/ 18people

150/6=x/18

We want to find x, so we need to get x by itself. x is being divided by 18. The inverse of division is multiplication. Multiply both sides of the equation by 18.

18*(150/6)=(x/18)*18

18*150/6=x

18*25=x

450=x

x= 450 g

450 g of sugar is needed to make bread for 18 people.
