Microscope allowed us to find known parasites, micro living things.
Technology allowed us to inherit knowledge on different plants and animals
When we breathe in, oxygen enters our lungs and enters small sacs in our lungs called the alveoli. In the alveoli, the oxygen diffuses INTO the bloodstream through small blood vessels, called capillaries, that surround these alveoli. The oxygen is now in our bloodstream instead of our lungs and is used in cell respiration etc.
Oppositely, carbon dioxide is diffused FROM the bloodstream TO the alveoli, also through these capillaries. The carbon dioxide is now in the lungs instead of the bloodstream and when you breathe out, the carbon dioxide is breathed out out of your lungs.
Hope this helped, even if it helped a tiny bit. :)
Answer:
Proteins and phospholipids make up most of the membrane structure. The phospholipids make the basic bag, while the proteins are found around the holes and help move molecules in and out of the cell.
Answer:
Biodiversity hotspots are regions under surveillance of humans where threatened and endemic species of flora and fauna are grown. These regions have been identified as some of the world's most important ecosystems.
The two criteria for designation as a biodiversity hotspot are:
1. It must possess at least 1500 vascular plant species as endemics : It means the region must have a high percentage of plant species which are found no where else in the world.
2. It must have 30% or less native vegetation : It means that the plant species population is endangered and threatened to extinction.
