In the beginning the Phoenecians mostly traded wood, slaves, glass, and powdered Tyrian Purple. Powdered Tyrian Purple was a special dye that was used by Greek elites to dye clothing. In addition the Phoenicians later expanded their trading routes and traded wine and precious metals such as copper and silver.
