Area of the bottom triangle = 1/2 x 10 x 8.7 = 43.5 cm²

Area of the 3 rectangles = 3(10 x 6) = 180 cm²

Area of the top triangle = 3 (1/2 x10 x 4) = 60 cm²

Total surface are = 43.5 + 180 + 60 = 283.5 cm²

You are going to draw two candy bars from a large bag containing 28 snickers bars and 5 twix bars. what is the probability that
amm1812
Find the probability of drawing 1 snicker first then the probability of drawing another snicker after that, then multiply them together. For the first choice, the probability of drawing a Snickers is 28/33 (snickers/total candy bars). For the second choice, there are only 32 candy bars left, 27 of which are Snickers. So that probability is 27/32, so...

A box contains 8 red markers, 5 green markers, and 5 blue markers. Once a marker is pulled from the box, it is replaced, and the
Andru [333]

Well. add all of these up 8+5+5. we know 5+5 is 10. and 10+8 is 18. so 18 is the denominator.  There are 8 red markers and 5 blue markers at 8 and 5 up. 8+5 is 13 right? So the numerator will be 13.  but the probability of picking a blue then a red is 13 alone or if you are ask for out of the amount of markers there are, its 13/18. so the probability is 13 or 13/18.
