Okay you use this equation for point-slope form. m=y2-y1 / x2-x1
m is what most have agreed to be the variable for slope so that’s what I’ll use.
So with the two points you have you have 2 x’s and 2 y’s. All you have to do is just assign (give) a 1 or a 2 to each point, you’re basically labeling them to make it easier on you later. You NEED to make sure that for one point you put down both the x and the y for the same number. You can’t have x1 and y2 for the same point.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s label them. (-5,4) —> (x1,y1)
(1,6) —> (x2,y2).

Now go through with the equation 6-4 = 2

1-(-5) which is really just 1+5=6

2/6 which simplified to 1/3

So m=1/3

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope is given by change in the ordinate divided by change in the abscissa.= Y2-Y1/X2-X1

=6-4/1+5= 2/6= 1/3

A summary measure that is computed to describe a population characteristic from a sample is called a: A) statistic. B) census. C
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

A. Statistic

Step-by-step explanation:

Usually whole population is difficult to cover so the part of population is considered to assess the aspects of population. The statistic is the quantity which summarizes the sample. The problem illustrate that summary measure is calculated from sample to describe a population. As the summary measure is computed from sample then it is a statistic.

Let's simplify ~

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \:( - 2 - 5i) - ( - 4 + 6i)

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \: - 2 - 5i + 4 - 6i)

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \: - 2 + 4 - 5i- 6i)

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \:2 - 11i

Therefore, A is the Correct choice !
