B=2t/3 and A=3t/5

B-A=(2t/3)-(3t/5)

B-A=(10t-9t)/15

B-A=t/15 and the time we are concerned with is when t=60 so

B-A=60/15=4

So B will blink 4 more times than A in one minute.

-x - y = -9
x - y = 3
vovangra [49]
Use elimination
-x - y = -9
x - y = 3
Add both equations
-2y = -6, y = 3
-x -(3) = -9
-x = -6, x = 6
Final answer: x = 6, y = 3

Base=30cm
Heights=20cm
Find the X?
Leviafan [203]

Answer: 25

Assuming the dotted line touches the middle of the base of the triangle,

Using Pythagoras Theorem,

(30/2)^2 + (20)^2 = x^2

x^2 = (15)^2 + 400

x^2 = 625

x = √625 or -(√625)

x = 25 or -25

But since x needs to be a positive value,

x = 25
