Use this method to estimate the students who attend your school (or a certain building on your campus) on a given morning. Count

the number of students entering the building in 1 minute and multiply this number by the minutes it takes the entire group to enter.

Answer and explanation:

The data we get from counting how many people entering a building in one minute is the sample of the population size. We do this since it would be tedious or not feasible to stand and count one by one how many people enter the building and so we do a good estimate with our one minute sample

Let's assume in one minute, 15 people enter the building and it takes one hour for everyone to enter the building

Population size would be 15*60 minutes= 900 people

One angle is twice its supplement increased by 54 degrees. Find the measures of the two supplementary angles.
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer: The two angles are 24 degrees and 156 degrees

======================================================

Explanation:

Let x and y be the two supplementary angles

"one angle is twice its supplement increased by 54 degrees"

means that

y = 2(x+54)

Whatever angle x is, we add on 54, then double it to get angle y.

x+y = 180 since they are supplementary angles

x+2(x+54) = 180 plug in y = 2(x+54)

x+2x+108 = 180

3x = 180-108

3x = 72

x = 72/3

x = 24

y = 2(x+54)

y = 2(24+54)

y = 156

as a check

x+y = 24+156 = 180

so x and y are confirmed to be supplementary angles.

Each leg of an isosceles triangle is 4 meters longer than the base. the perimeter of the triangle is 26 meters. find the lengths
Otrada [13]

The length of the base is 6 and the length of each leg is 10.

In order to find this, we can start by making the length of the base x. Now we know that the legs are 4 longer we can mark them as x + 4. Since there are two of them, we can add x + x + 4 + x + 4 and set equal to 26 to find the value of x.

x + x + 4 + x + 4 = 26

3x + 8 = 26

3x = 18

x = 6

Now we can plug this in for our leg length as well to find that.

x + 4 = Leg

6 + 4 = Leg

10 = leg

Explain this if you can i struggle with Discrete and Continuous Data
Reika [66]

Answer:

option A

{1, 2, 4, 7, 9}

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain of a function is the complete set of possible values of the independent variable. Mostly it is 'x' values.

In the figure the tail of arrow represent values of domain and head of arrow represent values of range.

So,

{1, 2, 4, 7, 9} is the domain of G(x) and {3, 5, 8} is the range
