If you look at the graph for the point (-2.5, 3.0), you need to find -2.5 on the x-axis and 3 on the y-axis. The "Water Fountain" point is past negative two but not quite at 3 yet; it's in between. Then you go up three times. Even though the graph is going by 2's, the point is located exactly in between 2 and 4, which is 3. Hope this helps!
