There are two videos that feature a TON of foreshadowing in them, and both are linked on Schoology. Watch each video twice. The

first time, just watch it to see what happens. The second time you watch it, try and write as many pieces of foreshadowing from the video you can. Then repeat the process with the second video. I recommend "Serial Taxi" first, followed by "Alma." ANSWER QUICK PLEASE.

Answer:

Explanation:

"But if he's not with you, and he's not with us, who's he with?"

— Will Turner, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

The audience is informed of some fact X, which is both shocking and important. There's a bomb in the briefcase, or Alice is The Mole, or whatever. This is often communicated via a character who has just realized X, and says it out loud (thus informing the audience); perhaps he realizes X while explaining the situation to someone else. Another alternative is to use a fact-revealing Flashback. In any case, the audience very suddenly realizes X. Less than five seconds later, before anyone has a chance for a meaningful reaction (such as disarming the bomb), X becomes incredibly relevant. The bomb goes off, or Alice shoots Bob, or whatever.

The purpose of this trope is to allow something shocking to happen without confusing the audience. If Bob flips a lightswitch and suddenly his whole house explodes, the audience might be left wondering what happened. If the writers want to avoid that feeling, they employ this trope. Thus, Carol figures it out beforehand and says something like "Alice put a bomb in Bob's house!", or perhaps we're shown a Flashback of Alice planting the bomb. In either case, the audience is informed and confusion is avoided. Of course, if we're informed about the bomb several minutes before the event, it won't be as shocking, and in Bob's case it leaves the writers with the trouble of explaining how Bob knew about the bomb, but didn't manage to do anything about it before it went off. Thus, we're informed of the truth, and the truth becomes relevant soon afterwards.

"Serial Taxi"

This lesson plan is designed around Serial Taxi a short animation by Paolo Cogliati and the theme of murder mysteries.

Serial Taxi. from Paolo Cogliati. 7 years ago. A young business woman takes a chilling ride when she realizes her cab driver could be the notorious Taxi Killer.foreshadowing The music gives the film a sense of foreboding, even before any hint that Travis will be violent appears. Travis's shooting of the young black man foreshadows his extreme and emotionless violence at the end of the film.

Hope this helped you!

Marianna [84]
It's always important to understand the difference between tone and mood.
I like to say that tone is how the author feels about the work. You can tell how the author feels by the word choices (diction) he or she makes.
Mood is a more personal reaction. How does the work make you feel?
If I am looking for what the tone of this poem is, I'd look at words like "diverged" and "sorry" in the first stanza and the phrase "wanted wear" in the second stanza and the lines "I doubted if I should ever come back" and "I shall be telling this with a sigh" in stanzas three and four. I might make the conclusion that the tone of this poem is one of longing.
As far as the mood goes, you might end up using the same lines and word choices as in the paragraph above. But the mood is going to be a different answer. How do you feel as a reader? Sad? Somber? Hopeful? Anxious?
As a reader, you are never sure the poem's speaker made the right choice. So that's why the mood is left up to you.

Scenario 2
Inga [223]

Answer:

Here I go then...

Explanation:

I have recently received multiple complaints about the hygienic situation in regards to the bathroom. Many complaints have been filed detailing that several toilets are out of service,  toilet paper can be found on the floor, and the general level of cleanliness in the bathroom is unacceptable. Multiple parents have been threatening to withdraw their children due to these sanitary issues. I recommend rectifying these issues immediately. Hiring a janitor would yield the most results, although since it isn't cost effective, I recommend adding a small bonus in staff wages for doing a cleanup of the bathroom as part of their daily routine.
