Answer:

x = 3 is the line of symmetry.

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question we have to find the equation of line of symmetry which is the average of x-intercepts.

Given quadratic function is f(x) = 4x² - 24x + 20

Now we know line of symmetry is denoted by x = -\frac{b}{2a}

From the quadratic function

a = 4

and b = -24

therefore, equation of symmetry will be x = -[\frac{-24}{(2)(4)}]

x = 3

Therefore, x = 3 is the line of symmetry for the given function.

I don't know for sure I'm going to ace grade next year but I know that you you need to put the coefficients with the same variable together and the variable next to the coefficients and multiply or add or divide or subtract them and you get your answer and this is just 7th grade math I'm relying on

Answer:

125°

Step-by-step explanation:

A triangle is 180°.  You already have 2 angle measures given.

30° + 25° = 55° 180° - 55° = 125°

Angle y is an obtuse angle, an angle measure greater than 90°.

Kareendeep has $168.50 in her bank account. She buys x shirts for $5.5o each. Write and solve an equation Kareendeep can use to
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

Equation: 5.5x = 168.5

Solution: 30 shirts

Step-by-step explanation:

First, create the equation where x is the number of shirts.

Since each shirt is $5.50, the cost of the shirts will be 5.50x

Set this equal to 168.50, since that is how much money Kareendeep has.

So, the equation will be 5.5x = 168.5

Now, solve this for x, the number of shirts she can buy:

5.5x = 168.5

Divide each side by 5.5

x = 30.6

Since we can only have a whole number of shirts, she can only buy 30 shirts.

So, the answer is 30 shirts.
