First you have to do puthagorean theorm to find the missing leg which is QR then to find sinS you go opposite over hypotenuse. simplify if needed.

Sine is opposite/hypotenuse. Opposite of angle <em>S</em> is line <em>QR,</em> which is unknown. Therefore start with the Pythagorean Theorem to find <em>QR. </em>For simplicity, I'll use <em>x </em>as a variable for <em>QR.
</em><em>
</em>x^{2}+60²=68²
x^{2}=68²-60²
x^{2}=4264-3600<em>
</em>x^{2}=1024
x=\sqrt{1024}
x=32

So <em>QR </em>is 32. Therefore, sin <em>S </em>is 32/68, which simplifies to 8/17.

What is the midpoint of a line segment with the endpoints (-4, -3) and (7, -5)
Katyanochek1 [597]
Midpoint Formula: (\frac{x+x}{2},\frac{y+y}{2})
Midpoint = (\frac {-4+7}{2},\frac {-3-5}{2})
Midpoint = (\frac {3}{2},\frac {-8}{2})
Midpoint = (\frac {3}{2}, -4)
So, the midpoint of the endpoints (-4,-3) and (7,-5) is (\frac {3}{2}, -4).

A candy store called "Sugar" built a giant sugar cube out of wood to hang above the entrance to their store. It took 545454 feet
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

<em>The volume inside the giant sugar cube is 27 cubic feet.</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

It took 54 feet² of material to build the giant sugar cube. That means, the total surface area of the cube is 54 feet²

<u>Formula for surface area of a cube</u> is:  S= 6a^2 , where a is the length of each edge of the cube.

So, we will get.........

6a^2=54\\ \\ a^2= \frac{54}{6}=9 \\ \\a= \sqrt{9}= 3

Now, <u>the volume of the cube will be</u>:  V= a^3= (3)^3 = 27 feet³

Thus, the volume inside the giant sugar cube is 27 cubic feet.
