When solving problems like these, the easiest thing to do is either turn both fractions into decimals or into fractions with a common denominator.

So 3/4 = 0.75 OR 9/12

And 2/3 = .666 OR 8/12

In solving the actual question, you're looking for the store that gives the better deal, meaning that they sell MORE apples for LESS.

The first store sells 9/12 of a bushel for $9 and the second store sells 8/12 of a bushel for $8.

The answer is the first store which sells 3/4 of a bushel for $9.

Find the image of the given point
lbvjy [14]

Answer:

P' = (2, -2)

Step-by-step explanation:

You have the x-value and the y-value of the pre-image, so all you have to do is plug that into the translation statement (x + 9 , y - 3).

Since x = -7 and y = 1 that would be (-7 + 9, 1 - 3), or (2, -2).
