Answer:

C

Explanation:

When it precipitates, the acid in the soil becomes dissolved forming an acidic solution. The low pH solution dissolves the calcium ions in the soil washing them away in runoffs and also leaching them deeper into the soil. This depletes the calcium ions hence making them unavailable to the birds. Calcium intake is important in birds because the ion is a significant component of eggs shells (makes them strong and not brittle hence the eggs don’t break easily)..

Kitty [74]

Answer:

For the tRNA anticodon CCA the corresponding codon is GGU, which codes for the amino acid Glycine (Gly).

Explanation:

Transfer RNA or tRNA is responsible for driving the right amino acid into protein synthesis, once the mRNA codon has been translated by the ribosome. It is for that reason that each mRNA codon must have a complementary tRNA anticodon.

The RNA pairing rules is that each nitrogenous base has a complementary base, so:

- Adenine is complementary with uracil A=U

- Cytosine is complementary with Guanine C=G

In this case, it can be seen that:

  • For the anti-codon: CCA
  • Codon: GGU
  • Aminoacid: Gly
