(a)

pavan saves = x

his 1st brother saves = x + 4

2nd brother saves = x +4

all together they save = x + x +4 + x + 4

= 3x+8

so

3x + 8 = 26

(b)

3x + 8 = 26

subtract 8 from.both side

3x + 8 - 8 = 26 - 8

3x = 18

divide by 3 both side

3x/3 = 18/3

x = 6

so pavan saves $ 6 each month

How do u do 5 pounds 4 ounces for $26.88 what’s the cost per ounce
ExtremeBDS [4]
First you have to turn pounds into ounces and its 16 oz for 1 pound.

Now you need to multiply 16 by 5.
16×5=80

Now you add the 4 oz to the 80 oz.
80+4=84

Now you need to divide $26.88 by the 84 oz.
26.88÷84=0.32

Then you finally get $0.32 per 1 oz.

I really hope that helped : )

Graph the line passing through the given point and having the given slope. Give the slope intercept form of the equation of the
shutvik [7]
Equation of the line is y=mx+b
the line passing through point (1;-2) so x=1 y=-2
m=-0.5 so put all these values in equetion and found value of b
-2=-0.5*1+b
-2=-0.5+b
b=-1.5
so equation of the line is y=-0.5x-1.5
Answer:
