So, here's the problem:

-3/2÷2/-6

When dividing fractions, you flip the second fraction and multiply the result.

Like this:
-3/2*-6/2

Then, you just multiply the numerators (top numbers) and the denominators (bottom numbers) together.
-3*-6=18
2*2=4
18/4 can be reduced to 9/2 or 4 and 1/2 (4.5).

V125BC [204]

Answer: 96 square units (choice B)

==============================================

Explanation:

Triangle OBI has a base of OI = 12 units along the horizontal component, and CB = 8 is the vertical component or the height.

area of triangle OBI = 0.5*base*height

area of triangle OBI = 0.5*12*8

area of triangle OBI = 48 square units

--------------------------------------

Now find the area of the trapezoid GNIO. The two horizontal components are the parallel bases GN = 4 and OI = 12. The height of this trapezoid is the vertical component CD = 6, where point D is added on to be at location (0,-6) on the graph.

area of trapezoid = (height*(base1+base2))/2

area of trapezoid GNIO = 6*(4+12)/2

area of trapezoid GNIO = 48

Coincidentally, the triangle and trapezoid both have the same area

--------------------------------------

The last thing to do is add the two areas of the triangle and trapezoid

total area = (area of triangle OBI) + (area of trapezoid GNIO)

total area = (48) + (48)

total area = 96 square units

Writing a geometry proof seems to take a very specific kind of skill along with a specialized vocabulary. Yet you have also seen
ANTONII [103]

In geometry proofs, we commonly use step-by-step logic to figure out the proof. This is commonly used in Computer Science for understanding how computers work, process, and store information(I speak from personal experience). This is also commonly used in Law. You use this in Law as a lawyer to deduce information using step-by-step logical processes and logic, otherwise it's just wishful thinking. So, Law also uses the same reasoning skills used in Geometry proofs.

Help with number 19??
schepotkina [342]
We have to choose two points of this graph:
A(5,0)
B(0,-4)
And we have to compute the slope:
Given two points A(x₁,y₁) and B(x₂,y₂) the slope between these points would be:
m= slope
m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

In this case:
m=(-4-0)/(0-5)=-4/(-5)=4/5

Answer: the slope would be 4/5 and all of these answer would be wrong.

What is the slope of this chart?
labwork [276]

4.

For every four y, is one x, meaning the slope is 4 over 1 (or simply 4).
