Answer: 18 baskets.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we want to find the greatest common multiple of these 3 numbers, and the greatest common multiple will be the maximum number of baskets:

To find it, we took the smaller number of the set, in this case 90, and we divide it by the smaller number that we can:

90/2 = 45

now we mus see if 45 divides 144 and 108, and is easy to see that is not the case, so this is not a common factor.

Now we try with 90/3 = 30

now, 30 divides the other two numbers? of course not (the multiples of 30 are 60, 90, 120, 150, etc)

Try with the next one,

90/4 is not integer

90/5 = 18

let's see if 18 divides the other two:

108/18 = 6

144/18 = 8

So 18 is the greatest common factor, this means that we will have 18 baskets, with 8 apples, 6 oranges and 5 pears each.

On your family trip, you used 9 gallons of gas. If the odometer readings before and after your trip were 74,233 and 74,545, resp
sveta [45]

Find the number of miles driven by subtracting the odometer readings:

74545 - 74233 = 312 miles driven.

Divide miles driven by gallons of gas used:

312 / 9 = 34.66 = 35 miles per gallon.

A researcher posts a newspaper advertisement offering 520 in exchange for participation in a short study. The researcher accepts
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

It's a valid sample because the first five people were selected to participate.

Step-by-step explanation:

True because random people who saw the advertisement responded. By chance, not every person who saw the advertisement answered, therefore it was random, but it would be more random if he decided to reject the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth person, and only the first, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth were chosen.

Help Me pls its due today pls

The answer is 0 quarts.

Remember
1 gallon contains 64ounces
1 cup contains 8ounces
1 pint contains 16ounces

We know that 2 gallons (128oz total) are needed to fill the bucket.

First, Omar pours 64 ounces into the bucket so we have 128 - 64 = 64 ounces left to fill.

Second, Penny pours 8 cups which is the same as 64 ounces (8cups x 8 ounces = 64 ounces total) into the bucket.

Stop here and add up the water in the bucket.

The bucket has only 128 ounces capacity total which means Omar and Penny have filled up the bucket with 64 ounces each. 64 x 2 = 128 ounces

The bucket is full, Ronnie actually makes it overflow. So Sierra will pour 0 quarts of water into the bucket.
