The answer is 125 miles!

Scale Factors!

50/1 to ?/2.5 ? Multiply 50/1 by 2.5/2.5 to get 2.5 hours as the denominator. (keep in mind that / does not mean fractions or divided by in this situation.) 50*2.5=125. if your confused try looking at some practice problems on 'scale factors'

1. For the carnival, the park rented a dunking booth shaped as a rectangular prism. The booth is 3 1/2 ft wide, 3 1/2 ft long, a
Talja [164]

Answer:

a) The volume of the dunking booth = 98 feet³

b) They will need 84 feet³ of water to fill 6/7 of dunking booth

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets talk about the rectangular prism

- It has 6 rectangular faces each two opposite faces are congruent

- It has three dimensions Length, Width and Height

- Its volume = Length × Width × height

* In our problem the dunking booth is a rectangular prism

 with dimensions:

- Width = 3.5 ft

- Length = 3.5 ft

- Height = 8 ft

∴ Its volume = 3.5 × 3.5 × 8 = 98 feet³

a) The volume of the dunking booth = 98 feet³

* They want to fill 6/7 of the dunking booth with water

∴ The volume of the water will be 6/7 from the volume

   of the dunking booth

∵ The volume of the dunking booth = 98 feet³

∴ The volume of the water = 6/7 × 98 = 84 feet³

b) * They will need 84 feet³ of water

How can i make 0.48 into a fraction
lubasha [3.4K]
If you want to know how, i'll tell you. 0.48 is .48 hundredths. So you put your fraction like this: 48/100 because the decimal is 0.48. 48/100 can be simplified to 12/25 because the GCF is 4 or can both be divisible by 4. I hope this answers your question.

Andrews [41]

Answer:

The total earning of Avon Edwards is $341.25.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Total hour worked by Avon Edward = 45.5 hrs

Per hour salary = $5

Normal working hours = 40 hrs

Extra hours/ overtime = 45.5- 40 = 5.5 hrs

Tips money = $100

Bonus = 0

Total earning = ?

Given condition can be written in formula as:

W = HR +1.5 VR + B + T

W = (40 * 5 ) + 1.5 * (5.5 * 5) + 0 + 100

W = 200 + 41.25 + 100

W = 341.25

The total earning of Avon Edwards is $341.25.
