1. The 1.5 oz box for $2 is best because if you make $3 into $6 then the box is 32 oz. And if you change $2 to $6, the box is 34..5 oz which is better because its bigger.

1. it would be smarter to but the 16 oz bag because your getting more out of your money with the 11 oz bag you would be paying 5.75 per oz but with the 16 oz bag you are paying 5.30 per oz so it is a better choice to choose the 16 oz bag

A scuba diver diving with an 80 cubic foot tank of air, needs to resurface when his air in the
Burka [1]

At sea level atmospheric pressure is 1 bar absolute (1 standard atmosphere =101 kPa=1.013 bars). The weight of the atmosphere exerts a pressure which will support a column of water 10 m high; 10 m under water the pressure on a diver is 200 kPa. The volume of gas in an early diving bell full of air at sea level is halved at 10 m according to Boyle’s law; at 20 m pressure is 300 kPa absolute and the gas is compressed into one third the volume.

Dry air is composed of roughly 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, and 1% other gases. According to Dalton’s law the partial pressure of oxygen at any depth will be 21% of the total pressure exerted by the air and the partial pressure of nitrogen will be 78% of total pressure.

Gases dissolve in the liquid with which they are in contact. Nitrogen is fat soluble and at sea level we have several litres dissolved in our bodies. If the partial pressure of nitrogen is doubled (by breathing air at 10 m depth) for long enough for equilibration to take place we will contain twice as many dissolved nitrogen molecules as at sea level.

A truck can be rented from Company A for $100 a day plus $0.40 per mile. Company B charges $20dayplus $0.90 per mile to rent the
dangina [55]

Answer:

the number of miles is 160

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation is given below:

Let us assume the miles be x

For company A

y = $100 + $0.40x

And, for company B

y = $20 + $0.90x

In order to find out the number of miles, the rental cost of the company A should be less than the company B rental cost

SO,

$20 + $0.90x > $100 + $0.40x

Subtract $20 from both sides

0.90x > 80 + 0.40x

Now subtract 0.40x from both sides

0.50x >80

x>160

So the number of miles is 160

madreJ [45]

Answer:

<h2><u>$52.5</u></h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Step one:

given data

we are given that the linear function for the cost is  c=3.5t

c is the cost and

t is the number of tickets.

We are told that t=15, to find c, let us put the value of t in the linear function for the cost

c=3.5(15)\\\\c=52.5

<u>This shows that 15 tickets will cost $52.5</u>
