Given:

Weekly deduction = $13.50

Employer is paying 80% of the cost of this insurance

To find:

Total annual premium of Janet's insurance

Solution:

If 80% of the 13.50 is remitted weekly then the weekly deduction will be,

\Rightarrow\frac{80}{100}\times13.50 = \$10.80

Then the amount remitted in a year will be as follows,

\Rightarrow\$10.80\times52 = \$561.6

(One year = 52 weeks)

Therefore, a total amount of $561.6 will be the the total annual premium for Janet's health insurance.

Can someone plsss help me no links
nirvana33 [79]

Answer:

Number one the base is 24 and the Volume is 120

Number two the base is also 24 and the Volume is 240.

Step-by-step explanation:

For #1:

For the first one the area of the base is 8x3 which equals 24 so for base Number 1 its 24.

All we got to do to figure out the volume is multiply by 10 *the height* and then divide by 2 because we are finding the volume of a pyramid. 24x10 = 240/2 = 120. So the volume for Number 1 is 120.

For #2:

It has the exact same number except we are dealing with a rectangular prism which means at the end we don't have to divide by 2. For the base its 8 x 3 = 24 the same as the pyramid. For the volume- 8 x 3 = 24 x 10 = 240 which means the volume is 240. And of course don't forget the unit yards³

The management of a restaurant with locations all over the country has developed a new hamburger that researchers believe will s
Sliva [168]

Using sampling concepts, it is found that the best way to perform a randomized experiment with the goal of determining if this new hamburger will sell better than the hamburger that is currently sold is as follows:

Randomly select 40 restaurants, let each one decide if it wants to sell the new hamburger, and compare sales in those restaurants to sales in the restaurants that chose not to sell the new hamburger.

What is sampling?

It is is a common statistics practice, when we want to study something from a population, we find a sample of this population.

For example:

I want to estimate the proportion of New York state residents who are Buffalo Bills fans. So i ask, lets say, 1000 randomly selected New York state residents whether they are Buffalo Bills fans, and expand this to the entire population of New York State residents.

In this problem, a sample of randomly selected restaurants should be taken to sell the new hamburger, and then be compared with the ones who sell the old hamburger to see if sales increased, hence the correct option is:

Randomly select 40 restaurants, let each one decide if it wants to sell the new hamburger, and compare sales in those restaurants to sales in the restaurants that chose not to sell the new hamburger.

Kobotan [32]

Answer:

85 minutes.

Step-by-step explanation:

T = Tuesday

M = Monday

T = M - 15, 70 = M - 15, M = 85 minutes.

Since she worked out 15 minutes less than monday on tuesday, you add 15 to 70, since thats what she did on tuesday.
