Answer:

D. Chuck is liable to Potter for both Battery and Assault

Explanation:

Assault is making a physical attack on another person that causes the person to fear for their safety.

Battery is occurs when an attack impacts on the victim. It is the result or completion of an assault.

In this scenario Coach Chuck unjustifiably throws a water bottle at Smith intending to strike Smith instead the bottle hits Potter's hat.

Potter felt threatened that is why he turned his head to avoid the bottle. This is assault.

The bottle actually hit his hat. This is considered a battery.

Which research questions would be the most effective in researching the effects of television on children? check all that apply.
Sveta_85 [38]
I consider that I would select the following for the reasons I will describe:
- How many hours each day does the average child spend watching television?: This would investigate in order to check if there is a correction between the hours a child watches television and the development of the child.
- How does watching television every day impact children's brains?: This question I consider crucial to understand if there is a correlation between the use of television and the neurological development of the child.
- How do different television programs influence children's views about society?: This question would help in an investigation of the development social area.
- Is there a relationship between children's physical fitness and their television viewing habits? : This question would help to better understand the influence of television on the behavioral development of children.

How did US wartime production compare to that of Germany and Japan?
Alex_Xolod [135]
The US alone was able to produce much more than both Germany and Japan.

Germany was not able to produce as much, as their equipment was usually more stronger and durable, but it also meant it took longer to produce. They also continue to research options for a 'stronger weapon', and so their funds were little

Japan did not have the resources to produce good technology. Instead, they relied on their human strength and their beliefs.

The US, though their equipment was only average, were much more easier to produce, and combined with large funds, resources, and the populations' willingness to work, made their output larger than almost all the countries combined

hope this helps
