The Reorganization Act gave the president more power by providing him with a support staff and advisers to help him.</span>
This act gave the President the power and authority to hire additional confidential staff. It also allowed the President to reorganize the executive branch for two years following a legislative veto and certain constitutional limits. The Act eventually led to the development or the foundation of the Executive Office or Department of the US.
