a)Total number of fruit Brian bought in terms of x= 2x+3

b)Total money spent by Brian on the fruit= 0.9x+1.5

c)cost of each pear= (0.9x+1.5)/12

Step-by-step explanation:

As provided Brian got “x” apples and unknown quantity of oranges. However, amount of oranges bought was 3 more than apples

a). Hence the total number of fruit Brian bought in terms of x= no of apple +no of oranges

=x+x+3 (since he brought 3 oranges than apples. If apple is “x”, then oranges = “x+3”)

=2x+3

b). Total money spent by Brian on the fruit.

Total amount spent on apples= (cost of one apple* no of apples) + (cost of one orange * no of oranges)

Given Apples cost .40 and Oranges .50

=.4x+.5(x+3)

=0.9x+1.5

c). cost of 12 pears matches the total cost of the apples and oranges-

cost of each pear= total money spent on apples and oranges/no of pears bought

=(0.9x+1.5)/12

The coach of a baseball team separates the players into groups for drills. Each group has the same number of players. Is the tota
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:it is composite

Step-by-step explanation:

it is composite because if there is say 60 people on the team and he divided the groups amongst three people in each group then it would be 20 groups now that isn't prime see so it would be the same thing if the basketball coach separates the team into 10 groups and there's 60 people on that team that's not a prime number that would be a composite number so the answer is composite A prime number would be there's eight people in each group and he separates them into a group so that means that They would be 64 people on that team Now the book that I'm looking at right now doesn't tell you the people on that team and how much people there are on that team but it says there is a different amount from The number of teams to the number of people in the team see there's like eight people in the team and there is for groups so that means two people in each group so That means that the answer would have to be composite and not prime hope this helped somebody.
