Answer:

The median is 31.5

The mode is 39

The range is 31

Step-by-step explanation:

The median is the middle number of arranged data from small to big in a set of data

The mode is the most repeated number in a set of data

The range is the difference between the greatest and the smallest numbers in a set of data

The data from stem-and-leaf plot are

11, 11, 12, 22, 22, 25, 27, 27, 36, 39, 39, 39, 39, 40, 42, 42

∵ There are 16 data

- There is no one middle number because the number of the

data is even, so the median will be the average of the

     two middle numbers

∵ 16 ÷ 2 = 8

∴ The middle numbers are the 8th and the 9th numbers because

there are 7 numbers before them and seven numbers after them

∵ The 8th number = 27

∵ The 9th number = 36

∴ The median = \frac{27+36}{2}

∴ The median = 31.5

∵ The mode is the most repeated number

∵ 39 is repeated 5 times and no other number repeated more

   than 5 times

∴ The mode is 39

∵ The range = Greatest number - Smallest number

∵ The greatest number is 42

∵ The smallest number is 11

∴ The range = 42 - 11

∴ The range = 31

State the leading coefficient of the polynomial:<br> f(x) = 6x^5 + 9x^4 + 2x^3 + 3x^2 - 4x -6
dlinn [17]

Answer:

The leading coefficient of the polynomial is 5 .

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 6x^5 + 9x^4 + 2x^3 + 3x^2 - 4x -6

In this polynomial , the highest exponential is the leading coefficient .

So there are 5 coefficients ,

5 , 4 , 3 , 2 , and x

so above , the highest one is 5 .

Bananas are $.59 a pound what is the constant of proportionality
hichkok12 [17]
The constant proportionality is the proportionality of 59. Because it is the price, you just move the decimal point two places over to the left.
If you do this correctly you will get .59

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

find the prime factors of given numbers:

126= 2*3*3*7- this side can be cut into any number here or combination of numbers as per factors

108= 2*2*3*3*3 - same as above

As per prime factors, the squares can be of  sizes:

2×2, 3×3, 6×6, 9×9 and 18×18

The least number can be obtained with the biggest size option 18×18, this will give 7*6=42 square
