D. Enzymes and antibodies
Cell regulation is conducted by special proteins. These special
proteins are enzymes which help in the regulation of bodily function. They hasten
the chemical reaction such as pepsin. Pepsin is a protein that helps in the
digestion of food in the body.
Gross motor - controlling the head, sitting, crawling, maybe even starting to walk. Fine motor - holding a spoon, picking up a piece of cereal between thumb and finger. Sensory - seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling. Language - starting to make sounds, learning some words, understanding what people say.
Renal medulla
The renal medulla contains the renal pyramids, where urine formation takes place. Urine passes from the renal pyramids into the renal pelvis. This funnel-shaped structure occupies the central cavity of each kidney and then narrows as it extends out to join the ureter.
