If the loan is paid in full at the end of that period, then amount to be paid back is $ 52085.13

<u>Solution:</u>

Given, An amount of $21,000 is borrowed for 10 years at 4% interest, compounded annually.

The loan is paid in full at the end of that period, how much must be paid back

Now, let us find compound interest first.

\text { Compound interest }=\text { amount } \times\left(1+\frac{r}{100}\right)^{t}

Here amount = 21000

r = rate of interest = 4%

t = time period = 10 years

By plugging in values we get,

\begin{array}{l}{\text { Compound interest }=21000 \times\left(1+\frac{4}{100}\right)^{10}} \\\\ {=21000 \times(1+0.04)^{10}} \\\\ {=21000 \times 1.04^{10}} \\\\ {=21000 \times 1.480=31085.1299}\end{array}

So, compound interest on $21000 is $31085.13 approximately.

Now,<em> amount to be paid back = loan amount + compound interest </em>

Amount to be paid back = 21000 + 31085.13 = 52085.13

Hence, amount to be paid back is $ 52085.13

If the circle has the same diameter as the edge length of the square, then the area of this circle is ___________the area of the
WINSTONCH [101]

Answer:

The area of this circle is (\frac{\pi}{2} )  the area of the square.

For the uniform electric field normal to the surface, the flux through the surface is electric field multiplied by the area of this surface.

Therefore, Φsquare is (\frac{2}{\pi} ) ϕcircle

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the circle is given by;

A_c = \frac{\pi d^2}{4}

Area of the square is given by;

A_s = L^2

relationship between the edge length of the square, d, and length of its side, L,

d = \sqrt{L^2 + L^2} \\\\d = \sqrt{2L^2}

But area of the square , A_s = L^2

d = \sqrt{2A_s}

Then, the area of the square in terms of the edge length is given by;

A_s = \frac{d^2}{2}

Area of the circle in terms of area of the square is given by;

A_c = \frac{\pi d^2}{4} = \frac{\pi}{2}(\frac{d^2}{2} )\\\\But \ A_s = \frac{d^2}{2} \\\\A_c =  \frac{\pi}{2}(\frac{d^2}{2} )\\\\A_c =  \frac{\pi}{2}(A_s )

For the uniform electric field normal to the surface, the flux through the surface is electric field multiplied by the area of this surface.

Ф = E.A

Flux through the surface of the circle is given by;

\phi _{circle} = E.(\frac{\pi d^2}{4})

Flux through the surface of the square is given by;

\phi _{square} = E.(\frac{d^2}{2} )\\\\\phi _{square} =E.(\frac{d^2}{2} ).(\frac{\pi}{2} ).(\frac{2}{\pi} )\\\\\phi _{square} =E.(\frac{\pi d^2}{4} ).(\frac{2}{\pi} )\\\\\phi _{square} =(\phi _{circle}).(\frac{2}{\pi} )

Therefore, Φsquare is (\frac{2}{\pi} ) ϕcircle

A persons weekly wage is worked out by using the formula
LuckyWell [14K]
The formula is : #of overtime hours(h) *£16 + basic pay (b)
So, the easier way to put it is W=h*16+b

A: Wage= £284

A. W=h(9)*16+b(140)
=9*16+140
=144+140
=284

B: Overtime = 11
So, with this one, we work backwards
Using the same formula

W=h*16+b
We can fill in
300=16h+124

First, subtract 124 on both sides leaving

176=16h
Now we divide 16 on both sides, canceling out the right side
Leaving
11=h
