Answer:

the correct answer is E

Explanation:

None of the options is correct, because entropy is the thermodynamic magnitude that indicates the degree of molecular disorder of a system, in exothermic processes energy or heat is released to the medium and energy is taken from the medium in endothermic processes, entropy if it depends of the temperature since the temperature is what sometimes determines if the process is spontaneous or not, and the delta universe in spontaneous processes is not always greater than zero, it is more frequently less than zero with negative values.

Can someone please explain what orbits are? Like for example, how many orbits an element has
love history [14]

Answer: There are many possibilities for atomic orbits.

Explanation: In chemistry orbits, or orbitals, are the areas that electrons move around the nucleus of an atom. Think like the solar system.

There are three levels of orbitals (p,d, and f).

That should get you started. Use p, d and d described in your book to find out how many orbitals an atom has.

A gas is contained in a tick walled balloon. When the pressure changes from 2. 95atm to ___atm, the volume changes from 7. 456L
tia_tia [17]

A gas is contained in a tick-walled balloon. When the pressure changes from 2. 95atm to <u>2.57</u> atm. p.

<h3>What is pressure?</h3>

Pressure is a force perpendicular to the unit area on which it is applied.

Given that, P1, the initial pressure is 2.95 atm

The initial volume, V1 = 7.456 L

The final volume, V2 = 4.782 L

The initial temperature, T1 =  379k

The final temperature, T2 = 212k

The equation will be

\dfrac{P_1V_1}{T_1 } =\dfrac{P_2V_2}{T_2}

Putting the values in the equation

\dfrac{2.95 \times 7.456 L }{379k } =\dfrac{P_2\times 4.782 L}{212k}\\\\\\P_2 = \dfrac{2.95 \times 7.456 L \times 212k }{379k \times 4.782 L} = 2.57\;atm.

Thus, the pressure changes from 2. 95atm to <u>2.57</u> atm p.

Can anyone answer this question?
-Dominant- [34]
Hello! Those are called the isotopes of those elements!! They have more than just one form and each has it’s own AMU’s so the multiple numbers above different elements, represent the isotopes of those elements. Carbon is a good one just for one example.

Hope this helps you out! Questions please just ask! Thanks!

How plants adapt to temperature variation
natita [175]
Answer: One major strategy by which plants adapt to temperature change is to decrease the degree of unsaturation of membrane lipids under high temperature and increase it under low temperature. ... This pattern of changes in membrane lipids was distinct from that occurring during slow alterations in temperature.

Compounds which are characterized as covalent are generally made up of elements found in which part of the periodic table
uranmaximum [27]
Elements that make up the compounds that are characterized as covalent are mostly in the right part of the periodic table.

Alkalyne metals and alkalyne earth metals, which are located in the left part of the table, and given that those elements form ions with relative ease they make up ioinic compounds.

Covalent compounds are made up mainly of a non metal element and a metal elements with low metallic properties.

The metallic character of the elements decrease as you go to the right of the periodic table, that is why you found those elements in the right part of the periodic talbe.
