Answer:

15.7 cups of popcorn can fit, if it needs to be a whole number, 15 cups.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the Radius is 3, We can use the equation A = 3.14 * r² to find the area.

So, A = 3.14 * 3² = 28.26

Now that we know the area we can multiply the Area by the Height to find the Volume

28.26 * 8 = 226.08

Now knowing that 226.08 is the Volume of the container we can divide 226.08 by 14.4 to find that 15.7 cups can fit or just 15.

226.08/14.4 = 15.7 or 15

For this case we have that the point-slope equation of a line is given by:

y-y_ {0} = m (x-x_ {0})

Where:

m: It is the slope of the line

(x_ {0}, y_ {0}): It is a point through which the line passes

In this case we have to:

(x_ {0}, y_ {0}) :( 3,2)

Substituting in the equation we have:

y-2 = m (x-3)

Answer:

y-2 = m (x-3)

We just need to replace the value of the slope

Find the distance between the two points. Round your solution to 2 decimal points.
VashaNatasha [74]
Notice the grid, the points are (-5, -2) and (4, -1), thus

\bf ~~~~~~~~~~~~\textit{distance between 2 points}\\ \quad \\
\begin{array}{ccccccccc}
&&x_1&&y_1&&x_2&&y_2\\
%  (a,b)
&&(~{{ 4}} &,&{{ -1}}~)
%  (c,d)
&&(~{{ -5}} &,&{{ -2}}~)
\end{array}~~
%  distance value
d = \sqrt{({{ x_2}}-{{ x_1}})^2 + ({{ y_2}}-{{ y_1}})^2}
\\\\\\
d=\sqrt{[-5-4]^2+[-2-(-1)]^2}\implies d=\sqrt{(-5-4)^2+(-2+1)^2}
\\\\\\
d=\sqrt{(-9)^2+(-1)^2}\implies d=\sqrt{81+1}\implies d=\sqrt{82}

Latrell is comparing two job opportunities one job will pay $12 an hour and he will work 40 hour a week. The other one pays an a
Nata [24]

To compare these two jobs, you need to have a common point. In this problem, you have to solve for the annual salary of the first job and compare it with the annual salary of the second job which is already given.

$12 per hour x 40 hours per week x 48 weeks in a year = $23,040

First job’s annual salary is $23,040

Second job’s annual salary is $22,000

Therefore, the job which pays $12 an hour pays more.
