Bob weights about 30 pounds over weight and he has type 2 diabetes. He is not on medication for his diabetes but is trying to co

The diet allows an unlimited amount of beef, chicken, and fish as well as limited fruits and vegetables. Breads, grains, and cereals are not allowed. Bob is thrilled with his initial rapid weight loss, but after a weigh or two, his weight loss starts to slow. He begins to feel tired and light-headed. He is having headaches and notices a funny smell on his breath. Explain why Bob is tired, is light-headed, and has headaches and an unusual odor on his breath.
