The effective steps you can take before drafting a short story are as follows: 1) Visualize the story from beginning to end as this will give you a brainstorm of ideas to include in the following steps; 2) create a plot outline because you will need to specify what the focus or main idea of the story will be. Once you have done these two, now you can begin to 3) write a sketch of each character based on the plot of the story to depict or give life to the personality of every person in the play; also because this step will lead you to 4) write out the dialogue to determine how the plot will develop and move along the characters of the story until the very end, which comes to be the last effective step in this process of writing a short story by 4) writing the ending since you must have clear how things will conclude for everybody. Finally, it is not as important to determine the title of the story since you may find fewer ideas for it whether you start from this step or consider it relevant; in fact, making the story from scratch and having a sketch of it can bring a vast list of names for the whole story that sums it up, so keep this step but for the last.

Lilit [14]

Answer:

the writer’s overall purpose determines the techniques he or she uses. The writer’s

reason for writing a particular article or book may be manipulative, as in propaganda

or advertising, or may be more straightforward, as in informative writing. In either

case, understanding the writer’s underlying purpose will help you interpret the context of the

writing. It will also help you see why writers make the decisions they do—from the largest

decisions about what information to present to the smallest details of what words to use. The

chapter concludes with instructions on how to write an analysis of purpose and technique. This

kind of rhetorical analysis will provide the perspective required to keep you from being pushed by

words in directions you don’t want to go.

How is the idea of freedom articulated in Dr. King's Speech?
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:Freedom’s Ring is Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, animated. Here you can compare the written and spoken speech, explore multimedia images, listen to movement activists, and uncover historical context. Fifty years ago, as the culminating address of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, King demanded the riches of freedom and the security of justice. Today, his language of love, nonviolent direct action, and redemptive suffering resonates globally in the millions who stand up for freedom together and elevate democracy to its ideals. How do the echoes of King’s Dream live within you?
