What is the value of x in the equation 1/5x – 2/3y = 30, when y = 15? 4 8 80 200
miv72 [106K]
Start with 1/5x – 2/3y = 30.  Let y = 15:      (<span>1/5)x – (2/3)(15) = 30

Then (1/5)x - 10 = 30, and (1/5)x = 40, and so x = 200 (answer)</span>

Answer:

22 degrees to the nearest degree.

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the Cosine Rule

3^2 = 5^2 + 7^2 - 2*5*7*cos T

9 = 74 - 70 cos T

cos T = (74-9)/ 70

cos T = 65/70

m < T = 21.8 degrees.
