Answer:

B

Explanation:

Janice Coleman is a team leader at Jackson Equipment. She has been promoted several times over the past five years and her performance evaluations are outstanding. One of the vice presidents at Jackson has been very friendly to Janice and has served as her mentor. He has also been asking her to go out with him for the past 2 years. She has declined and the vice president has recently suggested that she could be an area supervisor if he became her advocate with the management team. He has indicated he would be willing to do so if they began a personal relationship. Janice does not agree to the relationship and is promoted to area supervisor. Janice has filed a complaint of sexual harassment with the EEOC. Janice has a case for atmosphere of harassment.

Even though Janice got the promotion the vice president created an atmosphere of harrasment by trying to give her a promotion with a condition. His intentiins is what matters here as well as giving her a condition for a promotion even though she eventually got the position. He stirred up the atmosphere for harrasment.

1. If Bodin Company plans to sell 480,000 units during the year, compute the number of units the firm would have to manufacture
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

450,000 Units

Explanation:

The complete part of the question is as below:

Bodin Company budgets on an annual basis. The following beginning and ending inventory levels (in units) are planned for the year 20x1. Two units of raw material are required to produce each unit of finished product.

                             January 1  December 31

Raw material         35,000    45,000

Work in process   12,000    12,000

Finished goods   80,000    50,000

Solution:

Units to be manufactured to sell 480,000 Units = Sales + Closing Inventroy - Opening Inventory

= 480,000 + 50,000 - 80, 000 = 450, 000 Units

The number of units Bodin would have to manufacture is 450,000 Units

The money multiplier equals:________.
Serjik [45]

Answer: B. 1/R, where R represents the reserve ratio for all banks in the economy.

Explanation:

The Money Multiplier is the money that Banks generate given a certain RESERVE REQUIREMENT/RATIO.

A Reserve Requirement is money that the Central Bank requires that Banks do not loan out and instead keep in reserve.

For example, if the reserve rate is 10% and a bank has $10 they can only loan out $9.

Assuming they loan out $9 then they created $19 in the economy because their customers still own the original $10 but now they have also given loans of $9. The people who take the loans then deposit it in another bank. That bank would keep $0.90 in reserve and loan out $8.10 meaning that $27.10 now exists in the economy.

The process goes on and on until it gets to $100.

A simpler way to get to the final figure is to divide 1 by the reserve requirement = 1/r which is the money multiplier.

Using the above example, that would be 1/0.1 which is 10.

Multiplying this 10 by the initial deposit of $10 will give you that same $100.
