It is important for DNA to replicate during interphase before meiosis because the cell needs to have the same genes and DNA in order to be duplicated or else they would be nothing alike. Therefore, the DNA has to replicate.

In what layer of the earth are fossils found?
Vadim26 [7]

Fossils can be found in the Earth's crust.

The crust is the thinnest layer of the Earth. The fossils are most probably be found in this layer because it is the outermost layer. Also, the deeper the layer of the Earth, the higher the temperature that it has, and it probably cannot preserve the fossil.
