Answer: PA = ST, PB = SU, AB = TU ⇒ ∠P = ∠Q

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Point S is drawn to mimic point P.

The length of PA is measured and copied to point S so PA = ST.

The length of PB is measured and copied to point U so PB = SU.

Now we know that AB = SU.

Since all of the sides are congruent (if we were to draw a triangle), we can state that the triangles are congruent by Side-Side-Side Congruency Theorem.  Thus, ∠P ≡ ∠S  by CPCTC Theorem.

Can someone help me with these questions. Even if you can only help me with one, it would be appreciated.

Try these solutions:

<u>Task 1.</u>

a) the required angle is arctan(CG/AC);

b) according to the condition CG=AE=11.4 (cm.);

c) BC=EH=9.6 (cm.), then

AC=\sqrt{AB^2+BC^2}=\sqrt{18.4^2+9.6^2}=\sqrt{430.72} (cm.);

d) the required angle is:

arctan\frac{CG}{AC}=arctan\frac{11.4}{\sqrt{430.72}}=arctan(0.549297)=28.5=29

Answer: 29°

<u>Task 2.</u>

a) the required angle is EFV (see the attached picture): arctan(EV/FE);

b) to calculate FE: FE=0.5AB=7.25 (cm.);

c) to calculate EV:

EV=\sqrt{DV^2-DE^2} =\sqrt{17.2^2-(14.5/\sqrt{2})^2}=13.80996 (cm.);

d) to calculate the required angle:

m(∠EFV)=arctan(13.80996/7.25)=arctan(1.9048)≈62.302°=62°.

Answer: 62°

andreyandreev [35.5K]
Your answer would be B. An elevation at sea level
This is because if you picture it like a grid, -20 on the y axis is below 0, and 0 on the y axis is the y axis, so it would be on sea level.

I hope this helps!

Answer:

x = 4 units

Step-by-step explanation:

2/z = z/6

z² = 12

z = 2√3

using the Pythagorean theorem:

x² = 12 + 2²

x² = 16

x = 4

Nataliya [291]
Answer: slope = 3.25
Slope is the gradient. So to work out the gradient you need to do the change in y divided by the change in x, which in this case is 6.5-0/2-0. (I used points (0,0) and (2,6.5). So 6.5/2= 3.25
