Explain and discuss why the usa has only two major political parties by focusing on representation, the party system, political
MrRissso [65]
Federalist vs Anti- Federalist were the first two big political parties.

Those that wanted a big government and those that wanted a small government.

Americans affiliate themselves to one side or another.

Party system allows for one party to represent the majority of people.

A third party emerges when enough people like a voice, and so stick with that one subject line.  Green party, tea party, no - nothing party, anti - slavery party....

Third parties allow to join one political party, to help their voices heard.

how did the spanish-american war, overseas expansion, and world war 1 help the united states to emerge as a world superpower?
KIM [24]
The Spanish-american war allowed the United States to connect the two coasts and establish themselves as a force on the new continent. The expansion allowed them to have allies worldwide who traded with the states and this enabled them to accumulate wealth. World War 1 was the cherry on top because it ruined the entire economy of Europe as well as European infrastructure, while US was free to produce and export since it had no economic rivalry with anyone.
