Who left the office of presidency and wanted to make a last effort at exerting his political party’s influence
aleksandrvk [35]

Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States from 1969 to 1974. He is the only US president in history to have resigned from office. This was due to the Watergate Scandal, which was the release of tapes that involved the Nixon Administration incurring in unethical acts in order to gain political advantage over the Democrats. These practices included the use of espionage tactics and harassment over opposing political figures. As a response to an imminent impeachment and removal from office, President Nixon decided to resign.

"map of settlements in north america (mid1600s)" when looking at the map, what can you tell about the colonial european settleme
Lunna [17]

Answer:

d.All of the settlements were close to major bodies of water.

Explanation:

In the map you can observe that all of the settlements that were located in america were settled near major bodies of water, in bays, and in major rivers, this was because the first settlers that came from England were arriving on boats and the best way to access the new settlements was by boat, so most of the settlements were close to major bodies of water so they were reachable.
