onth. Over the next 4 weeks, the grocery store removed 87 cases, 53 cases, 42 cases and 67 cases from the store room to restock shelves. The storeroom also received two new shipments of 80 cases each during the same time period. How many cases are in the storeroom at month end? I'm confused on how to make this an equation for order of operations

Answer:

<h2>There are 263 cases of canned food at the end of the month in the store room.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

At the beginning of the month, the store room has 354 cases of canned food.

During the time span of 1 month, the grocery store removed a total of (87 + 53 + 42 + 67) = 249 cases of canned food.

The storeroom also received two new shipments of 80 cases each that is a total of (80 + 80) = 160 cases of canned food.

At the end of the month, there are (354 - 249 + 160) = 263 cases of canned food in the store room.

MrRissso [65]

Answer: -\frac{68}{3} or -22\ 2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this problem you must:

- Convert the mixed numbers to fractions, as following:

8\ 1/2=\frac{((8*2)+1)}{2}=\frac{17}{2}

2\ 2/3=\frac{((3(2)+2)}{3}=\frac{8}{3}

- Multiply both fractions. Mutilply the numerators and the denominators:

(\frac{17}{2})(-\frac{8}{3})=-\frac{136}{6}

- Simplify. Therefore, you obtain that the answer is:

-\frac{68}{3} or -22\ 2/3

L = (5w-2) cm

w(5w-2)=16 \\ 5w^2-2w-16=0 \\ D=b^2-4ac=(-2)^2-4*5*(-16)=324 \\ w_{1,2}= \frac{-bб \sqrt{D} }{2a}  \\ w_1= \frac{2- \sqrt{324} }{2*5}= \frac{2-18}{10}=-1.6 \ \ \O \\ w_2=  \frac{2+18}{10}=2 cm

width = 2 cm
length = 5w-2 = 5*2-2 = 8 cm
