Answer: the length is 3cm, the height is 3cm and the width is 1.5cm

Explanation:

When you cut the cube, two faces are affected and one is not affected (suppose you are cutting a dice from the top, the "top/bottom" sides are cut, and the "front/back" sides are cut, but the sides are unaffected) and if we consider width, height, and length, only one of those 3 will be affected (depending on where is the cut done)

So if the cube is cut in the middle, the only affected quantity in the resultant rectangles will be the width, that is now 1.5cm

So the length is 3cm, the height is 3cm and the width is 1.5cm

Answer:

The surface area of the new piece would be 4.5

Explanation:

I got this answer because if you cut 3cm in half you get 1.5 and the you have to must multiply the side that stay the same by the one that was cut in half which is equivalent to 4.5 thats how i go the surface area

hope that helped!

What is the momentum of a 950 kg car moving at 10.0 m/s?
pentagon [3]

Answer:

The answer is 9500 kgm/s

Explanation:

The momentum of an object can be found by using the formula

momentum = mass × velocity

From the question

mass = 950 kg

velocity = 10.0 m/s

We have

momentum = 950 × 10

We have the final answer as

9500 kgm/s

Hope this helps you

An ice skater spins with her arms outstretched at 1 revolution per second. She pulls her arms in toward her body. Does her angul
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

Her angular momentum does not change.

Explanation:

Conservation of angular momentum: It states that there is no change in the angular momentum when no torque outside the system is applied to the body.

In the given problem, an ice skater spins her arm outstretched. She pulls her arms in towards her body.

The angular momentum of an ice skaters remains same as the there is no external torque applied on an ice skater. The initial angular momentum and the final angular momentum of the given system are same. Therefore, the angular momentum is conserved.

Therefore, her angular momentum does not change.
