I don't know how to make a 'greater than' sign.

6x is greater than x + 20
6x - x is greater than 20
5x is greater than 20
x is greater than 20 divided by 5
x is greater than 4

So, any number greater than 4 will work in this equation.

6 times a number is greater than 20 more than that number

6 times a number means 6 times x
is greater than means >
20 more than that number means 20+x

6x>20+x
minus x both sides
5x>20
divide both sides by 5
x>4

x is any number more than 4

In order to be invited to tutoring or extension activities a students performance 20 point higher or lower than average for the
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:For the student to be considered for the tutoring or extension activities, his/her score must be 20 points lower or higher than the average.

The average is given as 105, that means:

Minimum score to be considered = 105 - 20 = 85

Maximum score to be considered = 105 + 20 = 125

If p represents the performance of a student, then this inequality will be represented as follows:

                    85 ≤ p ≤125

FIFO does not assume which of the following? sell old inventory first.or sell the new inventory first
pentagon [3]

First In First Out.

FIFO intends to sell the first one that comes through the door first, and that item will be the oldest one in the inventory, so the old one gets sold first.

so it doesn't assume to sell the new one first.

Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

H_{0}: \mu \leq 63500\\H_A: \mu > 63500

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

The owner of a football team claims that the average attendance at games is over 63,500.

He wants to justify that the team needs to be moved to a larger stadium outside the city.

If the attendance is larger than 63,500 the team would be moved to a larger stadium and if it is less than or equal to 63,500 that it would not.

Thus, the null and alternate hypothesis will be designed as:

H_{0}: \mu \leq 63500\\H_A: \mu > 63500

The null hypothesis says that the average attenders is equal to or less than 63,500 and alternate supports the claim that the attenders average is greater than 63,500.
