Entitlements are social programs that are needed and they have to be payed for annually and since they are uncontrollable the government cant control it because they are important. It affects it greatly because with this economy everything is unpredictable and if the government doesn't have enough to pay for them then its going to be a big problem. if they lower everything and reduce things then i guess the would be okay but its very unlikely.<span>Sources. hope this helps</span>
